The three Little Turkies

Here are the three grand kids during the week of Thanksgiving.. My friend made their shirts and this it the first picture of Emmah Faith. I just love them all and feel so blessed to have them in my life.

the SNOW

I can't believe I haven't been on my blog for this long, I have been on FB more and more and playing games like Farm Town, PetVille, and Happy Aquarium... I need to post some new pictures of the new baby that is now 4 months old today... I have about 10 inches of snow and thankful to have power and heat today. Yesterday NO power or heat. I have to start wrapping presents for Christmas.. I don't feel really well and not sure if it is from the cold yesterday, or from the H1N1 shot, or pushing the snow around yesterday.

Library Fun the summer of 2009

Here is the finished project from the Digging Up Dinosaur Bones.... All the kids got to chip away at this stone to make the sculpture for the library.

Jakob even got a chance to pound, he loved it and after they chipped away at the stone, they received a stone and it was turned into a necklace.

I think I found West Virginia, one of the stations at the library was state match. The kids were to find stones that looked like a state and then place the stone on the map.

Camping in the Back Yard, the only way to camp.

Here we are in the back yard going to camp out, my next door neighbor made a fire for us to use. We made smores and sang songs before turning in at about 11:00. Once inside the tent we watched a movie, or tried but we fell asleep.

Here is a snapping turtle found in Mississippi. He wasn't too happy, don't you see how he has his mouth open. We could touch every animal except this one, no one wanted to lose a finger.

Vacation is here....Smoky Mountains

Hey, who says this is a bathtub. Brianna and Shelby used the tub for a play area. We are having a great time with our friends here at the Smoky Mountains.

Brianna is petting a tarantula at the rainforest adventure zoo. I told here I would give her 20 dollars if she would hold the spider and she did. Then at the gift shop she bought a snake(toy).

We had so much fun go to Face Book and see some more pictures of the trip. This is only day two, the first day was driving and shopping for food.

The Crash

The labtop finially crashed, it is coded APPCRASH! I knew it was coming but now I have to wait or buy another one. I was wanting to buy an Accer laptop it is very small and it doesn't have disc drive. I am using a computer my dad gave me some years ago, it has errors and wants to debug all the time. It doesn't have to be decided today, some things you just have to wait for.

Pool Time!!! Well Kind Of.....

Okay, here we are the first time in the pool. I was needing to cut the grass but didn't want the kids out of my sight so I thought playing in the pool would be fun. I had no water hose, so I had to put it up against the house. No bathing suits, so we had to go to the store for a hose, a pool, and suits.

Even though it was "Red-neck" swimming, they had a lot of fun. I will have to post the picture of the pool I bought and the one we really swim in. The beach umbrella kept the sun off of them. I just enjoy summer time fun.

Camden Park, Friday June 19 What fun

The nursery!!! Ladybugs

Here it is the nursery, Ladybugs!!!! It has been a joint effort of many people for the one who found the Ladybug bedding, to the one who bought it, to the parents who made a new room in their house, and as you will see below the kids pounding and working in the room.

I didn't get the curtains in this picture but there are ladybugs. The border has to be put up too and it is ladybugs. The ladybug hamper and rug and there is even a ladybug night light.

Okay here is Jakob with the tools, good thing it isn't a power tool, he was working hard.

School's Out

Schools out for another year. The class that just left had to be an exceptional class. They were all great kids, smart, friendly and enjoyed school. I will miss them so much next year. I hope they come by the classroom and visit. Today was the first day of summer vacation for teachers, it has rained and I have rested and worked on getting the laundry done. I will be involved in tutoring this summer with a few other teachers. We are going to be working with kids so they won't lose everything they learned this past year. I am glad to have some time off for the summer.

The Joys of a Computer

I enjoy this computer I have but it is starting to do weird things. I think it is the Vista program that it runs is causing problems. I have turned it on three times and all three times something different has come up on the screen. My friend Lynn, fixed it yesterday so it would actually bring up email without shutting.down. Don't you wish you were a tech wizard so these things could be fixed.

Another school year is about over

The school year about over, just one more week with the students. It has gone by so fast. These students were so good. I will miss them very much, I wish I could just go to second grade with them. I'm looking forward to summer break. Spending time with the kids, going on vacation with my friend and her daughter. It is such a good life, and God is blessing me in so many ways.

The Flash Flood

This is the street that comes into my subdivision. These pictures were taken by my neighbor because I was at my mom's house sucking water out of her basement. She got about 4 inches of water in the basement. There were rivers flowing in the streets.

My street is just one block over from this road, it looks just like a little creek.
