I have started a new blog for my dad's job, he is a school bus driver. As soon as I get the blog up and running I will post the site. It is going to be great. I'm also going to try and set up a blog of my first grade classroom. It will be a scrap book on line of my kids and all the activities we do through the year.
When I was a preschool program director, we had the students' parents sign photo waivers about posting pics on the web. I don't remember the technicalities of WHY we did it--whether it was a law or just a courtesy. But we did have parents who wouldn't sign it--parents who did not want their child's picture on the internet. So we always had to make sure that those particular children were never in photos we posted on our website. Just a little food for thought while planning your class blog; I know the last thing a teacher needs is a mad parent. :)
